Descripton:  Platform Hayden Tract is an adaptive reuse and transit oriented development (TOD) planned for early 2014 construction in Culver City, CA.

The landscape architect provided landscape design and construction services for the boutique retail center converted from an urban car lot.  Adjacencies to a busy Washington Boulevard and newly installed lightrail lines provided both challenges and opportunities for the inwardly focused retail center, ones the landscape architect took into account when designing spaces for community scaled activities such as farmer’s markets, fashion shows, and art installations as well as a top-tier boutique retail and dining experience.
